Koch’s Turkey Farm is one of a few family owned turkey farms producing high quality, all natural, and organic turkeys with high growing standards and humane practices. When it came time to launch their new fully cooked products with great tasting turkey marinated in delectable sauces and grilled to perfection, the family partnered with WFM to bring new packaging designs to life.

Creating a design system that tells the farm to table story

To differentiate from their fresh turkey and build their brand, WFM evolved the color pallet and simplified the design system with new key visuals to tell the farm to table story. A classic illustration conveys a sense of place while gold cues and a muted color pallet with differentiated typography communicate the cleanest, healthiest, and best tasting turkey that their customers have come to expect from Koch’s in an easy to prepare recipe.

The new design system works seamlessly in the cooler next to Koch’s traditional fresh turkey and set the stage for further expansion of recipes and forms from grilled strips to meatballs and a variety of seasonings and sauces.
